That Makes Sense

A Three Part Series:  Energy Conservation in Focus

Sustainability I:    What If They Are Right?   A well-financed campaign to Swift Boat climate change/global warming has succeeded in negating the premise that human actions have hurt the environment.  But, what if the climate scientists are right?  And, a little history doesn't hurt.

Sustainability II:    How We Live Our Lives   Any plans, systems, laws or lifestyle changes aimed at curbing global warming must accommodate how we live our lives, how we function day-to-day and the choices we make if the results are to be positive.

Sustainability III:    A Plan for the Interim Period  We do not have a national energy policy and it does not appear one is eminent.  Here is a Plan for part of the transportation sector- a major source of Greenhouse Gases (GHG)- for the "interim period" which is now until the game-changing (or 'disruptive' in the good sense) technologies come on line to eliminate GHGs.  Think in terms of a decade.  Also, understand that oil will be the energy imperative for another 15-20 years.
